Why Anyone Can Love the 2020 Honda OdysseyMinivans make the best family vehicles, but you don’t have to have a family to love the Honda Odyssey. The Odyssey has an upscale cabin with the tech features you need to stay connected on the road, a powerful engine, and tons of space for all your passengers to spread out. Take a look at the features and equipment that give anyone a reason to love the 2020 Honda Odyssey.

It Has Plenty of Power

Power for the Odyssey comes from a punchy 3.5-liter V-6 that delivers 280 horsepower. It works with Honda’s smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission that now comes with Idle Stop no matter which trim you choose. The Odyssey uses front-wheel drive and provides quick acceleration. Front and rear passengers will appreciate the comfortable ride, and the driver will notice the easy handling and perfectly weighted steering that minimizes body roll even when navigating curvy roads.

You Get Lots of Technology

If you take one step up from the base LX to the EX trim, you get an 8-inch touch-screen display with Honda’s infotainment system. It works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and comes with satellite radio, HD radio, customizable feature settings, and the CabinControl remote-control app. Moving up through the trims adds extra tech features such as in-car Wi-Fi, wireless charging, and an upgraded 11-speaker stereo system.

The EX-L adds extra USB ports for the second row, and the EX-L w/Navi/RES has an integrated navigation system in the touch screen and a rear-seat entertainment system with a 10.2-inch display screen mounted to the ceiling. This entertainment system also has a Blu-ray player, built-in streaming apps, an HDMI input, and the CabinTalk in-car PA system that sends the voices of the front seat passengers to the back.

You’ll Feel Safe

All Odyssey models come standard with a rearview camera, while a step up to the EX adds advanced driver aids. These include a forward-collision warning system with automatic braking in an emergency, lane-keep assist, a road-departure warning system, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor, automatic high beam headlights, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Touring comes with front and rear parking sensors, and the Elite adds automatic windshield wipers.

The Cabin Is Very Comfortable

The seats in the Odyssey are comfortable, no matter where you sit. Cloth upholstery comes standard, with leather added to the midlevel trim for the first two rows. In the EX, you’ll get heated front seats and Honda’s Magic Slide 60/40-split second-row seats, which you can move to the middle of the vehicle to customize the seating arrangement. The EX-L also adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, driver’s seat memory functions, and a sunroof. The Elite has a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats.

Anyone can love the Honda Odyssey. Whether you need the space to carry a large family or you just enjoy the comfort and convenience of a van, the Odyssey has everything. Visit Ed Martin Honda to discover why the Odyssey is more than your everyday minivan.
