2027 Honda Odyssey: Trims and Launch Prices

The 2027 Honda Odyssey trim range starts with substantial standard equipment. Higher trims change upholstery, wheels and cabin features.

This table compares each 2027 Odyssey trim’s base manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) at launch, seat trim, wheels and key conveniences.

MSRP excludes tax, license, registration, the $1,595 destination charge and options; dealer prices may vary.

For shoppers comparing model years, each trim’s base MSRP at Launch increases by $400 from 2026 to 2027, and destination increases by $100.

The 2027 EX-L and Sport-L use HondaTex-trimmed seats where the 2026 models had leather-trimmed seats. Engine output, transmission, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mileage ratings and seating capacity match between the two model years.

2027 Honda Odyssey: Powertrain and Mileage

Powertrain and Mileage

Every 2027 Odyssey uses the same powertrain.

The table below lists the 2027 Odyssey’s engine, transmission and fuel specifications.

2027 Honda Odyssey powertrain and fuel specifications

Horsepower 280 hp at 6,000 rpm

2027 Honda Odyssey: Which Trim Should You Choose?

Which Trim Should You Choose?

The 2027 Odyssey EX-L is a fit if your priorities are heated front seats, a wireless phone charger and a power tailgate with programmable height. These are included at the entry point, so you do not need an upper trim to get them.

The move to Sport-L makes sense if you prefer its wheel finish, red ambient lighting and third-row charging connections. EX-L uses blue ambient lighting.

Choose Touring if you want rear-seat monitoring, a separate rear entertainment screen and front and rear parking sensors. Its equipment also includes navigation, Wi-Fi hotspot capability and HondaLink Subscription Services. The Wi-Fi hotspot requires an AT&T data plan, and HondaLink Subscription Services start with a complimentary Remote trial that requires enrollment, after which a subscription must be purchased.

The 2027 Odyssey’s rear-seat technology and parking equipment vary by trim:

  • CabinWatch Rear Seat Monitor and rear entertainment with a 12.8-inch screen are included on Touring and Elite.
  • Touring and Elite have 4 front and 4 rear parking sensors, plus third-row integrated sunshades.
  • For third-row USB-C charging, Sport-L provides 2 ports; Touring and Elite have 3.

Elite is the choice if ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel matter to you. Its windshield wipers respond to rain, and its side mirrors fold electrically and dim automatically. Its tailgate adds hands-free access while retaining programmable height.

Elite also includes a 500-watt premium audio system with 11 speakers, including a subwoofer. It has Multi-Zone Audio, too.

2027 Honda Odyssey: Seats, Space and Cargo

Seats, Space and Cargo

The 2027 Odyssey’s seating features are shared across the range. Its Magic Slide second-row seats have armrests and a walk-in feature for access to the third row. The second row also has a multifunction center seat. The third-row Magic Seat has a 60/40 split and Honda’s One-Motion operation.

Every trim also includes power-adjustable front seats and tri-zone automatic climate control with second-row controls. Second-row integrated sunshades and power sliding doors are standard.

These passenger measurements apply to every 2027 Odyssey trim.

2027 Honda Odyssey passenger measurements on every trim
Measurement, inches First row Second row Third row
Headroom 38.7 39.2 38.3
Legroom 40.9 40.9 38.1

Use the row measurements to decide what to check in person. If you regularly carry passengers in the back, spend time in the third row as well as the front seats.

Cargo space depends on which row it is measured behind. The standard and maximum measurements are separate figures, and the first-row maximum differs slightly by trim.

2027 Honda Odyssey standard and maximum cargo volumes
Cargo measured behind Standard, cu ft Maximum, cu ft Trim scope
Third row 32.8 38.6 Every trim
Second row 86.6 91.0 Every trim
First row 140.7 155.8 EX-L and Sport-L
First row 140.7 155.7 Touring and Elite

Honda measures cargo volume under the SAE J1100 standard plus, where applicable, floor space between seating rows, with seats in their forward-most and upright position.

For trips with passengers occupying every row, focus on the measurement behind the third row. Maximum space behind the first row is not cargo room available with a full passenger load.

Families using child seats should also consider anchor locations. Lower anchors are provided at every second-row seat and at the 2 outer third-row seats. Tether anchors are provided at every second-row and third-row seat. Those locations do not establish whether a particular combination of child seats will fit.

2027 Honda Odyssey: Technology and Safety

Technology and Safety

Every 2027 Odyssey includes a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Bluetooth calling and audio are also standard. USB-C charging connections serve the first and second rows.

CabinTalk, the standard in-car public-address system, is separate from the rear-seat monitoring equipment in the trim comparison. This distinction matters if you want to speak to rear passengers but do not need the upper trims’ monitoring and entertainment features.

Touring and Elite also have a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connection with USB-A for rear entertainment, plus a third-row headphone jack.

Honda Sensing is standard throughout the range. Standard driver-assistance equipment includes:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System with Advanced Pedestrian Detection and Forward Collision Warning.
  • Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Traffic Sign Recognition.
  • Blind Spot Information, Cross Traffic Monitor and Auto High-Beam Headlights.

Every trim also includes a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, Rear Seat Reminder and child-proof rear door locks. The parking sensors listed in the trim comparison are an additional reason to consider an upper trim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each trim’s base MSRP at Launch increases by $400 compared with 2026, and destination increases by $100. EX-L and Sport-L change from leather-trimmed seats to HondaTex-trimmed seats. Engine output, transmission, EPA mileage ratings and seating capacity match between the two model years.

The EX-L launched at $43,195 MSRP. The trim table above lists each version’s base launch price; the separate destination charge appears directly below it. You can check our Odyssey listings as you compare vehicles.

EX-L covers heated front seats, wireless phone charging and a programmable-height power tailgate. For gloss-black wheels, red ambient lighting and third-row USB-C charging, consider Sport-L. CabinWatch, rear entertainment and front and rear parking sensors make Touring the pick for those priorities. If ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel matter most, choose Elite.

No. Every trim has front-wheel drive. Snow Mode is standard, but it does not change the drive configuration. If AWD is a requirement, the Odyssey does not meet it.

No. EX-L and Sport-L use HondaTex-trimmed seats. Touring has leather-trimmed seats with piping, while Elite has perforated leather-trimmed seats with piping. Upholstery is one of the distinctions to check when comparing trims and model years.

Every trim seats 8, with 32.8 cubic feet of standard cargo volume behind the third row and a separate maximum measurement of 38.6 cubic feet there. The much larger figures measured behind the first row do not apply with every passenger seat occupied.

CabinTalk is an in-car public-address system, and it is standard on every trim. CabinWatch is a rear-seat monitor available on Touring and Elite. They are separate features, so having CabinTalk does not mean an Odyssey also has CabinWatch.

Touring and Elite include the Advanced Rear Entertainment System with a 12.8-inch screen. The system includes an HDMI interface with USB-A and a third-row headphone jack. Rear entertainment is not included on the lower trims.

The Odyssey suits shoppers looking for 8 seats on every trim, power sliding doors and front-wheel drive. If you are also considering the Pilot, browse our Honda Pilot listings to compare vehicles.

You can request an Odyssey test drive through our test-drive form. Before your visit, note which trim features you want to compare and which passenger rows you want to spend time in.
